Thank-you for taking on a leadership role with our Scout Group, either as a Section Assistant, an Assistant Leader, or a Leader.

As a Leader, you will need to complete the three modules that make up the Getting Started training and have it validated within five months of starting the role. 

 You will also need to complete two mandatory ongoing learning modules (these need to be kept current throughout your Scouting journey).

Once you have completed each of the courses, please email your certificate to Iain Roy, so that Compass (the Adult Membership database) can be updated, and so that validation can be planned where applicable.

From the above courses, Module 3 will require additional validation if you would like to do your Wood Beads training.  As part of this validation, you will also complete Module 2 which is the creation of your Personal Learning Plan (PLP).

As soon as possible, unless you have an existing in-date equivalent qualification (this will need to be validated), you must also undertake First Response training (Module 5)
